Welcome to the official website of TEDx St Albans, a locally organised event dedicated to spreading ideas and inspiring change in our community.
The first ever TEDx St Albans event on 26 October 2023 brought together speakers from a wide range of backgrounds and ages who shared their stories and ideas on a variety of topics, including AI, Loneliness, Transgender, Eco renovations, Youthwork and Volunteering, to name a few. They inspired our local community and spread their ideas, challenging everyone to think differently about the world around us.

What is TEDx?
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a program called TEDx. TEDx is a program of local, self-organised events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. Our event is called TEDx St Albans.
At our TEDx St Albans event, TED Talks video and live speakers will combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events, including ours, are self-organised.
