Why did you want to sponsor TEDx St Albans?
TEDx are fantastic! Personally, I have long loved hearing new ideas and learning new things through these short blasts of information in language we can all understand.
When we heard that TEDx was coming to St Albans, Redway wanted to be involved and support the event in some way. The theme of ‘connection’ is key for us. As a company with altruism at its heart, we feel that creating connections between people and organisations is vital, and we want to support our local community in doing just that.
We know the event will draw together some great minds and create meaningful synergies and we want to be a part of it.
Of course, as a company providing training and coaching we couldn’t possibly fail to mention the learning and development that will take place throughout the event. Our brains will literally be rewiring themselves, creating new neural connections (!) as they take on more information and learn from the expert speakers sharing their talks.
Ultimately, we are looking forward to joining the audience and the speakers in not just taking away knowledge, but being able to apply that knowledge in our lives somehow. With a view to expanding our understanding of the world around us, creating change in our lives and making progress towards our goals; whether personal or professional.
