Why did you want to sponsor TEDx St Albans?
We are proud to be part of the Willmott Dixon family; a privately-owned contracting and interior fit out group in the UK. Founded in 1852, we are dedicated to leaving a positive legacy in our communities and environment. In 2023 we were one of only nine companies to receive a King's Award for Enterprise - within the Promoting Opportunity category, for our work to enhance the life opportunities of others.
As part of our dedication to building better lives, The Willmott Dixon Foundation was established in 2011 to guide, monitor, and collate the social and community investment activities of our people. To help improve the wellbeing of people’s lives and the planet, in September 2020 we introduced our Now or Never strategy. This comprises 3 pillars: Brilliant Buildings, Building Lives and Better Planet. Each has defined targets, and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is a thread that runs throughout this.
We are delighted to support TedX Talks. As experts in construction, fit out and refurbishment, we are dedicated to making a positive difference within the communities in which we work. We believe that these sessions will be a great benefit to not only St Albans, but across Hertfordshire.
